Prevailing Wage (PW) schedules were primarily developed for USA region. In 12.05 Australia has taken advantage of utilizing the functionality for the local region as more Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA’s) have Contract related pay calculations and rates. For the Prevailing Wage functions to work and provide the most desired results, several steps/setups must be followed.
The processes described here will guide you through the setup for the Skills, Trades, Calculations, and Rate Schedules to be applied to the Contracts and employees. Keep in mind, both the Contract and the employee side must be set up for the Prevailing Wage functions to work.
