Overview
The Meter Change function allows you to record when a meter is replaced on equipment while maintaining accurate total usage readings. This eliminates the need for manual calculations when meters are broken or replaced.
Process
Navigate to Plant Control> Workshop > Meter Change.
Select the Asset that needs the meter change.
Enter the Change Date - the date the meter was replaced.
Record the Old Meter reading at the time of removal.
Enter the value of the New Meter as the starting point.
Save the record.
Viewing Meter Information
After recording a meter change:
Open the Asset record.
Go to the Caption tab to review Caption History.
You will see:
Final Reading for the meter change event.
New Reading on the replacement meter.
Total accumulated Value.
