Overview
The Depreciation History tab not only shows posted depreciation, but also shows future depreciation periods and provides context for how depreciation values are calculated.
Accessing Asset Depreciation History
Navigate to Equipment Manager.
Select an asset.
Navigate to the Depreciation History tab.
Select Depreciation History. Coins ERP+ displays:
Historical depreciation (posted periods).
Future depreciation (projected periods).
Calculation notes and methodology.
Depreciation History
Understanding Asset Depreciation History
Historical Depreciation (Posted)
Period: Month and year (e.g., Jan 2025, Feb 2025).
Depreciation Amount: Actual posted depreciation for that month.
Written Down Value: Asset value after depreciation.
Status: Posted/Completed.
Future Depreciation (Projected)
Period: Upcoming months (e.g., Month 1, Month 2, Month 3).
Depreciation Amount: Projected depreciation for that month.
Written Down Value: Expected asset value after depreciation.
Status: Projected/Future.
Calculation Notes
Total Periods: Total depreciation life (e.g., "Based on 60 periods").
Period Indicator: Which period you're viewing (e.g., "Month 1", "Month 2").
Percentage Remaining: For straight-line depreciation methods.
Methodology: Brief explanation of calculation method.
