Setup for Plant Kits

Creating the Kit Group

To create - the Plant the user must first create the Kits Group, this is in Setup > Maintenance > Groups > Kit Groups.

The user must add a new Group, allocate a unique group code, save the record.

To complete the default charging details, note the Weekly Charge details will not be available to complete if β€˜W’ has not been set in the Default Hire Methods.

Completing the Kit Details

To complete the details of the Plant Kit, this is located under Plant Control > Maintenance > Plant Kits.

Add the Plant Kit to the workbench, then complete the Details, Kits Parts, Hire Rates, etc.

Complete the Details tab, then click next to complete the remaining 3 tabs.

The completed Plant Kits are then available for selection on the Hire Desk, Catalogue, and Fast Dispatch.
