A Prevailing Wage Rates maintenance function is reached by selecting the Schedule Code hyperlink on the Prevailing Wage Schedules screen. It appears as the second of two tabs, as shown in Prevailing Wage Rates, and allows you to set up and maintain Prevailing Wage Rates for specific PW Trade/PW Skill Level combinations for applicable Earning Categories.
These rates are used on contracts for employees who have been associated with this Prevailing Wage Schedule.
Prevailing Wage Rates
Trade
The PW Trade or wildcard must be entered.
Skill Level Pattern
The PW Skill Level of the employee or wildcard must be entered.
Earning Category
The earning category that the PR rate will be applied to.
Effective Date
The date the PW Rate becomes effective.
Regular Rate or Amount
The rate or amount to be used when the earning category is applied to timecard
Regular Earnings Item
Overtime Earnings Item
Double Time Earnings Item
For Australia, the item numbers are not required as they are driven from Earning Category. Leave these fields blank.

Dormant
Whether this PW Rate is dormant.
