Contract Specific Cost Heads - Overview

Contract Specific Cost Heads are used by Contracts in Contract Status. Parameter JC/JOBCH allows Contracts to be configured using Contract Specific Cost Heads. If JC/JOBCH is set to Yes, a field is displayed on the Contract file (Allow Non-Standard Cost Heads), which allows the Contract to accept non-standard cost heads.

The Cost Head lookups include Contract Specific Cost Head descriptions instead of the standard descriptions if the following are true: the JC/JOBCH is set to Yes, a Non-Standard description is allowed for the Cost Head, and the Cost Head description is overridden for the Contract.

Updates have been made to Cost Code lookups in Payroll Timesheet entry, Payroll Redirection, and Payroll Maintenance to include Non-Standard Cost Heads.
